Benjamin Vu, co-founder and President, announces SkyVu's next two games at GDC 2011Coming this April to the App Store is BATTLE BEARS BLAST, the first one-handed casual shooter game for the iPhone and iPod touch. "We wanted to bring the fun, action, and comedy of BATTLE BEARS to a wider audience, so BLAST requires only one hand and takes only a minute or two to play but will have you coming back to beat your own score or to challenge your friends." says Vu. Vu then introduced BATTLE BEARS ROYALE, the first BATTLE BEARS multiplayer game coming to the App Store this summer. Working in partnership with W3i's Recharge Studios, experts in app promotion and freemium monetization systems, BATTLE BEARS ROYALE will be SkyVu's first entry into the growing freemium game market and will expose the BATTLE BEARS brand to an even larger audience than before.
Vu adds "We are so excited about partnering with Recharge Studios on BATTLE BEARS ROYALE. Our fans have asked for multiplayer features ever since our first release in 2009, and we're finally going to be able to deliver an awesome 3rd person shooter experience with BATTLE BEARS ROYALE." This is GREAT! Really looking foward to BBR (Battle Bears Royale). As well as Gamecenter I would like Openfeint as well (for the forums). And Triple B (Battle Bears Blast) looks just as good. For the third game in the Battle Bears main series should be Battle Bears: Escape, where the crew has to escape the huggable planet, rescue Wil and regain control of the Ursa Major, if possible.
It's funny how the above picture reminds me of the Crash Bandicoot series. Well again, great job SkyVu! Hope to see even more of your works hit the AppStore and beyond.
Thanks for the support Hackey5! We like OpenFeint too and are thinking about integrating their new OpenFeint X system. We're hard at work at this very moment on BBR and BBB! Can't wait to release it to the world!
cant till it comes out with openfient and gamecenter and that its gonna be multiplayer and your own customizable bear its gonna be awesome
